Who would benefit from seeing you?
I work with children and teenagers navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional regulation difficulties, as well as those experiencing self-esteem challenges. I especially enjoy supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, and helping them build a clearer understanding of themselves.
What has your psychology journey looked like?
I'm currently completing my Master of Clinical Psychology, alongside my work as a Provisional Psychologist. Before this, I worked as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, supporting children, teenagers and adults with disability to improve their quality of life. That experience shaped how I work now. I draw on evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT and behavioural interventions, and I value working collaboratively with clients and their families to build practical strategies for meaningful, lasting change.
What values underpin your approach?
I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, heard and accepted without judgement. I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where clients can be themselves, and I put a lot of stock in celebrating the small wins — they're often what leads to the bigger progress down the track.
What do you find rewarding about being a psychologist?
Watching someone gradually build confidence, work through challenges, and reach goals that once felt out of reach is rewarding in a way that's hard to describe. I feel privileged to walk alongside clients through difficult periods in their lives and celebrate their progress with them along the way.
Why do you like working at Scope?
Scope has a genuinely supportive and collaborative team that values both clinicians and clients. It's a welcoming environment where I feel supported to grow as a clinician while providing the best possible care for the people I work with.
What are some of your personal interests?
Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with my cat, Violet, or tending to my ever-growing collection of indoor plants — gardening is one of my favourite ways to unwind. I'm also an avid reader and enjoy expanding my knowledge, both within psychology and beyond.
