Scope Psychology Services Australia is seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our leadership team as a Senior Psychologist and Supervisor. This role is designed for a practitioner who demonstrates advanced clinical reasoning in neurodevelopmental conditions and a commitment to the developmental oversight of the next generation of psychologists.
At Scope, we prioritise neuro-affirming, evidence-based frameworks. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring clinical integrity across the team while managing complex caseloads and providing Board-approved supervision.
What We're Looking For
- A qualified and experienced professional with AHPRA General Registration and current Board-Approved Supervisor status.
- High-level clinical reasoning and a neuro-affirming approach to practice.
- A professional who can evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and determine when manualised approaches require adaptation to ensure they remain affirming and strengths-based.
- Strong skills in psychometric assessment, including adaptation of standardised tools to meet the needs of individuals with different functional abilities.
- A commitment to providing supportive direction and instructive critique to supervisees, ensuring they maintain effective care while managing their own emotional regulation and proactive self-care.
- The ability to modify communication tone and technical detail to suit professional audiences, including General Practitioners, schools, and the NDIS.
- A detail-oriented professional who ensures their own work and the work of their supervisees aligns with relevant internal and external competencies, codes of conduct and practice guidelines.
