Salary: $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 per annum FTE + Bonus Opportunities
Bonus Inclusions: $500.00 PD fund annually + Paid day off for birthday

Scope Psychology is searching for a permanent, full-time clinical lead to join our wonderful team. The Clinical Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for the oversight, coordination, and quality of all clinical services at Scope Psychology. This position provides expert clinical leadership and consultation to the entire team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and ethical services that align with Scope's strategic vision.
The Clinical Lead is the primary point of clinical escalation, holding ultimate responsibility for the management of the clinical risk register, the response to complex clinical presentations, and the safeguarding of high-risk participants, particularly those funded by the NDIS. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and collegial support.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, with Clinical Endorsement
- Significant postgraduate experience in a clinical setting, including demonstrated experience in a clinical leadership, senior practitioner, or management role
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of complex mental health presentations
- Demonstrated experience in managing high-stakes clinical risk, including suicidality, self-harm, and family violence.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- AHPRA Board-Approved Supervisor status.
Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- Comprehensive, expert-level knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., Autism, ADHD and Intellectual Disability) and associated co-occurring conditions
- Demonstrated application of a neuro-affirming lens in clinical practice
- Comprehensive knowledge of the social model of disability and its application in a therapeutic context
- Expert knowledge and confidence in navigating the disability services sector, particularly the NDIS framework, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards, and participant risk management
- Proven ability to provide clear, decisive, and empathetic clinical leadership and consultation on complex ethical and practical dilemmas.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and support a clinical team, including providing effective clinical supervision
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage collaboratively with all team members, clients, and external stakeholders
- High-level strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in policy development and quality improvement.
