Registered Psychologist
What services do you offer at Scope?

I provide therapy for children, older adolescents and adults. I offer my sessions in English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu or Tamil. I can help my clients to manage:

  • Anxiety, depression and stress
  • Challenging behaviours
  • Social and emotional difficulties, including bullying, reduced self-esteem and school refusal
  • Grief, loss and adjustment to significant life change
  • Challenges associated with autism and ADHD
  • Daily living skills for NDIS participants
Who would benefit from seeing you?

Typically, my therapy clients are seeking support to manage their mental health, guidance to reduce challenging behaviours, and skills training to build independence and well-being for people with a disability.

What has your psychology journey looked like?

I completed my primary qualification and Master degree overseas. I registered with AHPRA after completing additional postgraduate studies in Australia. I have worked in the field of psychology for 12 years, and have worked as a registered psychologist for 7.5 years.

                          What values underpin your approach?

I believe that therapeutic change can only occur when there is a good therapeutic relationship between the client and the practitioner. This is built on active listening and genuine empathy. My approach is client-focused, and I always try to understand each client's strengths and full potential to help them to be the best form of themselves.

What do you find rewarding about being a psychologist?

The most rewarding part of being a psychologist is the privilege to make positive change when someone is going through the most challenging times in their lives. It’s deeply rewarding to help clients to move through those tough times, and to see the smiles on their faces when they are able to make progress and reach their goals.

Why do you like working at Scope?

I love working at Scope because I have the opportunity to share my passion and skills with the great people who work here. We also have a great administrative support team!

What are some of your personal interests?

I enjoy spending time with family and friends (especially walking along the beach), as well as spiritual activities like meditation and philosophical reading.
