    • Specific learning disorder
Who would benefit from seeing you?

Generally I support parents seeking to better understand their child, NDIS participants wanting to build their independence, university students wanting to understand their learning style, and individuals wanting to manage their emotions and improve their mental health.

What has your psychology journey looked like?

I have completed a Bachelor of psychological science (first class honours) and a Master of professional psychology. I’m currently completing my final year of training as a provisional psychologist and supporting a variety of client experiences at Scope. The most valuable thing I have learned as a psychologist is the importance of connection and trust with my clients and the important people in their lives.

                                      What values underpin your approach?

I believe in connection and building rapport with my clients, and I aim to help clients understand themselves better and tailor each session to their individual goals. I also enjoy engaging through interactive games and role playing. I like to focus on strengths and I approach therapy from a compassionate and understanding perspective.

What do you find rewarding about being a psychologist?

The most rewarding thing about being a psychologist is the connection I build with my clients and the impact that our work together can have on their lives. It’s a privilege to be there for them in a non-judgemental, safe and respectful way.

Why do you like working at Scope?

I love the importance that Scope places on self-care and flexibility. The leadership team is also incredibly supportive. The team at Scope are great, the practitioners are all on the same page and frequently support each other, and our admin team goes above and beyond every day. I appreciate that compliance is closely monitored, policies and procedures are followed, and our assessment services are consistent - there’s no surprises, which makes it a safe and calm place to work.

What are some of your personal interests?

I love all things fitness and sports, and run triathlons frequently. I also have a strong interest in books, animals, and spending time with my family.
