Who would benefit from seeing you?

I work with people who need a little extra support to live their version of a thriving life. That often includes autistic people, ADHDers, and those navigating other cognitive or learning differences who want to build independence and confidence in everyday life. I also welcome anyone who'd like to understand themselves more deeply through assessment. I provide personality, cognitive, and neurocognitive assessments across the lifespan, and I work with people wanting to improve their wellbeing and learn practical strategies for managing anxiety and life's stressors. I have a particular affinity for working with first responders, and with children who need additional support and assessment to flourish at home and school.

What has your psychology journey looked like?

A lifelong love of learning led me across several fields before I found my home in psychology. I completed a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice with Honours and a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours, followed by a Master of Professional Psychology. After gaining general registration as a psychologist, I went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Behavioural Science.

Across my career I've worked with a wide range of clients in forensic, organisational, and community settings, and I consider myself fortunate to have had such varied and rewarding opportunities along the way.

What values underpin your approach?

I work in a collaborative, client-centred way, identifying your strengths and working alongside you to understand how you see the world and move toward your goals. Building trust and honesty matters deeply to me, and I aim to create an empathetic, non-judgemental, and supportive space where you feel comfortable and respected. I believe in empowering people and celebrating the small wins together.

What do you find rewarding about being a psychologist?

The most rewarding moments are the 'ah' moments, when things click and someone understands themselves more deeply through our work together. It's humbling to witness people grow, build confidence and skills, reach a place of self-compassion, and move forward in their journey. Seeing someone recognise their own strengths is what I find most fulfilling.

Why do you like working at Scope?

Scope is a warm, inclusive, and welcoming place for both clients and clinicians. The spaces are thoughtfully designed to be calming and sensitive to different sensory preferences, and the team takes real care to match each client with the right clinician. Our care is holistic, collaborative, neuro-affirming, and strengths-based, backed by contemporary, evidence-based tools and resources. I also love that Scope actively supports its clinicians to keep learning and developing their skills.

What are some of your personal interests?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my dog. I do pilates and go to the gym regularly to help me stay balanced. I’ve recently discovered I enjoy baking, but my skills are still in the developmental stages!
