I have studied a Bachelor of Psychological Science (hons.) and a Master of Psychology (Counselling) at the University of Queensland. I’m an AHPRA registered psychologist.
Empathy and respect are at the forefront of what I do. I strive to create a non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard and valued. Collaboration is another key value, as I work closely with clients to set goals and tailor interventions specifically for their unique needs. I also value evidence-based practice, and I draw on proven therapeutic approaches to ensure the outcomes are effective. Empowerment is also central to my approach, helping my clients to build resilience and autonomy in managing their own challenges.
What sets my approach apart is a client-centred focus. I always meet clients where they are, adapting my style to align with their comfort level and goals. I have an interactive, flexible style, using creative methods to engage clients—especially younger individuals or those new to therapy—making sessions feel approachable, collaborative, and effective.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing my clients’ personal growth and transformation over time. It’s deeply fulfilling to see individuals overcome challenges, build resilience, improve their confidence, build strong relationships or achieve their personal goals. I find joy in continuously learning and gaining more insights from every client’s unique journey that enhances my own practice.
I enjoy working at Scope because it aligns perfectly with my professional values. The supportive, welcoming environment fosters professional growth, and the emphasis on a holistic approach allows us to address clients’ challenges with a range of therapeutic techniques. The collaborative team culture encourages continuous learning and growth alongside like-minded professionals, making it a rewarding place to work.
