AuDHD assessment is a combined ADHD & autism assessment in a single package at a more affordable price. A diagnostic AuDHD assessment will confirm whether you're an ADHDer and if you're autistic. By completing an assessment with Scope's experienced psychologists, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of your strengths, challenges and neurodivergent traits. You'll also receive actionable insights to achieve self-acceptance and personal growth.

All Scope reports are NDIS-ready and can be used to access other supports at work, university or school.

What's the AuDHD assessment process?

1. Book

Easily book your assessment via phone, email, or our contact form.

2. Intake

Complete our online intake form, six online questionnaires and attend your intake appointment.

3. Assessment

Attend one assessment session with your chosen neuro-affirming psychologist.

4. Results

Receive a letter or report within two to four weeks of your assessment.

5. Feedback

Attend a feedback session to discuss the results in detail and receive a clear, tailored plan for the next steps.

Great, how much does AuDHD assessment cost?

At Scope, you have two options:

1. Full AuDHD Assessment, including your Diagnostic Letter

Psychologist — $1,210
Senior psychologist — $1,375

2. Full AuDHD Assessment, including your Comprehensive Report

Psychologist — $1,870
Senior psychologist — $2,125

Diagnostic Letter: A brief document that confirms the diagnosis and summarises key findings. Suitable for accessing accommodations or services when detailed information is not required. A diagnostic letter is not suitable for NDIS applications.

Comprehensive Report: A detailed document that analyses assessment results, highlighting cognitive strengths, challenges, and symptoms related to ADHD, autism, or specific learning disorders. It includes tailored recommendations for school, university, or workplace accommodations, strategies for managing difficulties, and a plan for ongoing support. This is ideal for those needing an in-depth understanding or extensive documentation for educational or work settings.

Psychologist: ‘Psychologist’ includes both provisional psychologists and generally registered psychologists with less than 10 years of experience in assessment. Both provisionally and generally registered psychologists receive supervision by a senior psychologist at Scope to ensure consistent quality across all assessment services. All diagnoses provided through Scope are valid and will include co-signature by a senior psychologist when required.

Senior Psychologist: ‘Senior Psychologists’ have over 10 years of experience in assessment and they have advanced knowledge for complex cases. Our senior psychologists are efficient in conducting assessments and turn around results and reports very quickly. They are particularly helpful for urgent and complex assessments.

Absolutely! At Scope, we provide comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments entirely online through Zoom, a secure and user-friendly video-conferencing platform. Rest assured, the validity of an online assessment is equivalent to an in-person assessment.

We follow the exact same evidence-based process used in in-person assessments, including structured interviews, standardised questionnaires, and behavioural observations. These tools are designed to be equally effective whether conducted online or face-to-face.

Online assessments offer additional benefits, such as allowing you to participate from the comfort of your own environment, which can often reduce stress, travel time and provide a more accurate representation of day-to-day behaviours. Our psychologists are trained to deliver the highest standard of care via telehealth, ensuring the results are thorough, reliable, and tailored to your needs.
